New approach to IR35

On 8 May 2012, HMRC formulated its final amendments to its ‘new approach’ to IR35 including effective improvement to its application and administration. HMRC have also put
in place compliance teams to manage the investigations and a significantly more effective helpline with the intention to provide with an improved guidance service.
